Already have a credit card machine? You can use Point Of Banking as well. If you have both types of terminals, you can save processing costs with the Point Of Banking and accommodate those customers who don't have a debit card, don't know what their PIN is, or object to paying a convenience fee.

New Point Of Banking terminals are plug and play systems: all you have to do is plug the power cord into a standard wall plug, and connect the Point Of Banking terminal to a standard analog phone line. That's it! You are now ready to accept bank cards for your customer's purchases – at no cost to you!

You don't even have to use a dedicated phone line (although that would be preferred). If you don't use a dedicated phone line, make sure to use the least used phone line in your retail location. The second line that may be used for a fax machine should work well for this purpose. Make sure you do not have call waiting on the line your Point Of Banking terminal is using to dial out! Don't worry: when transactions are dialing out, there are no long distance charges for you, since the terminal is using a toll-free number.

Using your Point Of Banking (POB) terminal could not be easier! All you have to do is swipe the card and then just follow the instructions on the screen.

Choose withdrawal on the first screen; choose checking, savings or credit on the second screen. Third screen: the machine notifies the user of the amount of the convenience fee; forth screen: select the dollar amount of 5, 10, 15 dollars or “other”. The user will now be prompted to enter his PIN number and hit enter. Translation is completed. It takes a few moments for the approval, after which the terminal will print a two part receipt.

Point Of Banking terminals are usually placed at the cash register. It is recommended, although not required, having the customer sign the receipt.

The funds from transactions run on your Point Of Banking terminal are deposited into the merchant's account within two to three business days. This is not counting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Each month, you will be provided a statement. Finally, should you have any questions or need assistance with your Point Of Banking terminal, a toll-free technical support number shall be provided for you.

Saving money to make money – it is possible with Point Of Banking terminals!

Point Of Banking terminals look like credit card processing terminals, but work similar to ATM machines – except they hold no cash. Point Of Banking terminals print out a receipt for a certain dollar amount (you control the exact amount) which the cashier then redeems for products or cash back to the customer. There is no expense, security risks and the need to refill the cash like in a standard ATM.

Did you know that nowadays more people carry a debit card or a bank card than a credit card? By offering a Point Of Banking service, it follows that you as a merchant can increase your sales while at the same time getting paid each time the Point Of Banking terminal is used at your retail location!

The Point Of Banking terminals are easy to use. They come pre-programmed and ready to use. You don't even need to have a dedicated analog phone line to make the Point Of Banking terminal work! The monthly account maintenance fee is only $5

Point of banking terminals or cashless ATMs can be the most profitable way to accept bank cards. They can help cut the costs of providing bank card acceptance in a retail location while providing the customers with the convenience of getting cash back with their purchases.

Are you a merchant? Then you most likely have a merchant account of some sort. If you have a merchant account, you can run credit card transactions on your credit card machine – which is great – however, this comes with a significant cost to you as a merchant: it costs you at least a 2% processing fee on each and every transaction made with a bankcard. It's a significant expense that is likely to only increase in the future!

In today's slow economy, you are probably looking for every possible way to save on your business expenses. Then you will love to hear about cashless ATMs giving you a way to accept bank cards, but without the too expensive processing fees! It involves point of banking (POB) bankcard terminals so you can offer your customers the convenience of getting cash back.

How is the amount of cash back controlled, you may ask? You – the merchant – control the amount of cash back, as purchase transactions can be made in increments of $5. You are charging a small 99 cents convenience fee. This way, you are able to shift the cost of card processing away from your business and toward to the customers.

Your customers will enjoy getting small accounts of cash back for pocket spending money, and you will have the opportunity to save a lot of money in the long run. Point of banking can therefore make you business money – by saving money! With Point Of Banking terminals, convenience fee paid by the cardholder also pays for the cost of processing the transaction. And, after all, saving money is making money, isn't it! Point of banking terminals will make this happen: it is a win-win situation for both you, the retailer – and for your customers!
